Paula L. Tutman, Founder and Chief Trainer
Paula Tutman is a multi-Emmy Award-winning broadcast journalist with more than 42 years of on-camera experience. Inducted into the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2024, Paula has made an indelible mark in the field of journalism and throughout the Great Lakes state.
Her media and communication training career began in 1991, when she developed a communication model that helped police officers pass oral promotional exams. Since then, she has refined her protocols, offering communication tools that uplift and empower organizations and workers throughout the business, municipal, educational, non-profit and healthcare spectrum.
Paula’s adventurous spirit knows no bounds. From flying an F-16 fighter jet and sailing competitively to photographing Bushmen in Senegal and witnessing the polar bear migration in the Canadian Sub-Arctic, her life is a tapestry of bold experiences.
Linda Ware Smith, Trainer
Throughout her career at GM, Linda has either worked in Training or was responsible for the development and delivery of a Training program. In 2007-2009, she was Dean of the GPSC College at GM University where she was responsible for Employee Development & Training for more than 300 employees in 40 countries. She managed a global training staff, set global direction and learning priorities for knowledge assessments and training initiatives. As Operations Manager for the Warren Customer Engagement Center (Call Center), she was responsible for training all Customer Engagement Center employees and managing the site Training Team.
Linda has a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from University of Missouri-Columbia, Columbia, MO. and a Masters in Manufacturing Management from Kettering University, Flint, MI.
Linda joined North On Woodward as a Master Your Message Communication Course workshop trainer in 2017 and brings her wealth of knowledge, business operations acumen and warmth to the training process.
Larry Miller, Chief Geek
Larry is a seasoned professional with nearly 30 years of experience in IT service and support, now specializing in creative media production and event consulting. Leveraging his technical expertise and passion for storytelling, Larry provides full AV support, video production, and strategic consulting for conferences, corporate events, and creative projects. His work ensures seamless event execution, from setup and recording to post-event production, allowing clients to focus on what matters most.
His passion for helping clients succeed, coupled with a strong drive for leadership, allows him to manage small teams and deliver high-quality results across various industries.
Larry thrives on creating meaningful client experiences and is dedicated to finding innovative solutions, whether through cutting-edge event production or strategic CRM implementations. In his spare time, he enjoys movies, gaming, and spending time with family, always keeping an eye on the intersection of creativity and technology.
